Zone.Health is a 6-month subscription program focused on weight loss and metabolic health support. We offer our members a holistic, evidence-based and hyper-personalized weight loss solution that combines FDA-approved medications and wearable technology, as well as continuous metabolic monitoring with human support to help them achieve at least 10% weight loss and induce sustainable behavioral changes.

Zone.Health is the world’s 1st program to use continuous metabolic monitoring with a “clinic-in-the-cloud” model. The program features doctor-prescribed medications called GLP-1s (glucagon-like peptides), continuous glucose monitors, wearables, care team engagement (doctors, dietitians, health coaches), in addition to an integrated platform that enables you to track and improve your food, exercise, sleep, and emotional health habits.

In that sense, our program takes a truly holistic, engaging and data-driven approach to weight loss to help you achieve sustainable results and lasting metabolic health.

Once you complete your free initial Zone.Health doctor consultation, you’ll receive a payment link. After completing the purchase, a Zone.Health team member will contact you within 6 hours to schedule your home/clinic visit to onboard you into the program.

Our doctors prescribe a variety of GLP-1/GIP medications (short for glucagon-like peptides and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) such as semaglutide, liraglutide, tirzepatide, and dulaglutide, to name a few. These medications mimic the effects of the naturally occurring GLP-1 hormone in the body, which include suppressing appetite, regulating digestion, decreasing inflammation, and improving metabolic and cardiovascular health – which ultimately leads to weight loss.

All our medications are clinically-tested, stimulant-free, and non-habit forming, and are therefore safe for consumption.

Weight loss will vary from person to person depending on each individual’s biology and adherence to the program, but our research shows that Zone.Health members lose an average of 5% of their body weight within the first 3 months of the program, and about 10% by the 6th month – and successfully manage to keep it off thereafter.

The cost of the Zone.Health program is not covered by insurance, however some of your lab tests may be depending on your plan. Our team members will help you navigate your insurance and select the most suitable payment plan for you.

OUR PROGRAM

Yes!! We enroll individuals with a broad spectrum of medical backgrounds and believe that improving your metabolic health will significantly improve your overall health. At Zone.Health, we will monitor your blood test data, and coordinate with your primary care provider. While we are not a replacement for those providers and their treatment plans, the metabolic health changes you make through Zone.Health often have far-reaching positive effects on other conditions.

Everything you need for a successful weight loss journey is already included in your  membership  cost. However, you can always request to add more services such as additional blood tests including specialized hormone testing (beyond the Zone.Health laboratory list of tests) or additional continuous glucose monitors  which will be provided for you at a separate fee. Please contact your health coach via the Zone.Health app for more information.

Yes, you can! While most members reach their weight targets in 6 months or less –  and manage to keep it off thereafter – Zone.Health membership can be extended for 3 or 6 months depending on your needs and doctor’s recommendations (additional fees apply).

Your initial consultations with each member of your assigned Zone.Health care team  will take place via video conferencing app. During their respective sessions, your doctor, dietitian, and health coach will review your health history and create a customized treatment plan for you. If you have questions about your medications or diet plan, you can always address them during your consultations.

Your care team will also be available to offer any support you may need via the app’s chat feature, share meal plans and other guides with you, and continue to give you periodic feedback there based on your tracked data.

During the first home visit, a certified nurse will collect the required blood samples for the lab tests and hand you your Zone.Health box. The nurse will then assist you in downloading the Zone.Health app and connecting your devices including your continuous glucose monitor, wearable, and smart weight scale.

During the second visit, the nurse  will administer the first dose of the medication for you, and teach you how to self-administer this.

Your lab test results will be used by your Zone.Health doctor to assess your overall health status at baseline, prescribe the right precision medication for you, and determine its dose.

We collect your blood at the end of the program to compare these with your baseline results at the beginning of the program. Once analyzed, your Zone.Health team will discuss changes seen across the range of blood biomarkers collected.

The Zone.Health program does not follow any particular diet. Instead, our dietitians strive to help you establish a sustainable, flexible, and practical approach to nutrition that focuses on minimizing fast-digesting carbs and making healthier choices that include protein, fiber and healthy fats. No food restrictions or calorie counting!

Health coaches are practitioners who are specialized in different behavioral change techniques that are intended to motivate you and facilitate improvements related to diet, lifestyle, sleep, exercise and more. Their role is to help you identify your own compelling reasons to change by focusing on your strength points, setting weekly goals, building healthier habits, tracking progress, and providing encouragement. If you ever need to change your path, your coach will be there to help you adjust your plan to make sure that you are addressing your needs while also hitting your personal goals.

MEDICATION

Side effects of GLP-1s are usually rare, but for those who do experience them, nausea is the most common, though it typically resolves within the first few weeks of being on the meds. Our medication dose regimen offers gradual dose increases which helps us avoid and manage any side effects as soon as they arise. If you do experience any side effects, you can contact your care team directly via the Zone.Health app for solutions.

Our program is hyper-personalized in the sense that your medication dosage is adjusted based on your progress and reaction to the medication. This is done after close assessment and monitoring by your Zone.Health doctor who will determine your dosage before the end of each month. We’ll always make sure you are topped up before the end of your current dose.

It is generally safe to consume GLP-1s in concordance with other common prescription or over-the-counter medications – including meds for blood pressure, thyroid, and diabetes. GLP-1 agonists may however increase the risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) when co-administered with Sulfonylureas or Insulins, and their dose should be adjusted with the guidance of your doctor to prevent hypoglycemic episodes. Of course, you will always be able to get in touch with your Zone.Health doctor at any time to clear all your doubts.

While taking weekly injections may sound scary, most Zone.Health members find injectables to be painless as well as quick and easy to administer. Injectables are not only more effective but have fewer and safer side effects than other weight loss medications. You may however ask your doctor for alternatives as someGLP-1s are available in tablet form and can be ingested orally.
